I just had problems in registering my debit card (BPI Express Cash). Aside from that adding a bank account here in the Philippines is still not allowed.
The only permitted option is to add a credit card (Visa or Mastercard). The question is how would you withdraw money from your credit card? Do credit card companies allow that or you would be slapped with cash advance charges?
I have read that in Metrobank credit cards, transferred money from PayPal would be considered as an advanced payment and you wouldn’t be able to withdraw it. I also read that only Visa debit cards are accepted. Too bad for my Mastercard debit card. I just have to wait for the feedbacks of my fellow bloggers on what’s the best way to get the money from PayPal.
And oh there’s Xoom.com where you can transfer funds from PayPal to Xoom. Xoom by the way has the capability to transfer funds to bank accounts here in the Philippines.
