Beyonce's Father Will No Longer Manage Her Career

Beyonce's Father Will No Longer Manage Her Career
R&B superstar Beyonce Knowles has officially ended her business relationship with her father Matthew Knowles. Both sides claim that it was an amicable decision. This was the statement from Beyonce, "I've only parted ways with my father on a business level. He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me."

On the other hand, this was the statement from Matthew Knowles, "The decision for Beyonce and Music World Entertainment to part was mutual, We did great things together, and I know that she will continue to conquer new territories in music and entertainment. Business is business and family is family. I love my daughter and am very proud of who she is and all that she has achieved. I look forward to her continued great success."

Beyonce together with the Destiny's child were handled by Matthew Knowles in the late 1990s. Beyonce was a phenomenal success as a solo artist with 16 Grammy Awards and blockbuster movie "Dreamgirls." The 29 year-old superstar has a total of three solo albums and was credited in eight movies including Austin Powers in Goldmember and Obsessed.

With Beyonce's departure as a manager, who would fill in this big shoes, husband music mogul Jay Z maybe?

Beyonce Stealing Song Credits Again

Beyonce Stealing Song Credits Again
After the "If I Were A Boy" incident where Beyonce stole the writing credits for the song, she did it again with the song "Ego." Apparently, the song was written by Chrisette Michele and it was supposed to be included her album. But she gave it to Beyonce.

The song though was credited to producer Elvis Williams, Harold Lilly and Beyonce Knowles.

Aside from the said songs, she also stole the credit for the song "Scared of Lonely" even it was written by Rico Love.

What's up with these singers that tries to be a singer, song-writer?

Kelly Clarkson Ripped Off Beyonce's Song

Kelly Clarkson Ripped Off Beyonce's SongThis is the biggest news in the music scene. Apparently, the newest song of Kelly Clarkson titled "Already Gone" has the same backing track of Beyonce's "Halo." I have heard both song back-to-back the other day and realized that is is very similar. No wonder Kelly Clarkson was very furious.

According to the statement of Kelly Clarkson, it was the fault of the record producer Ryan Tedder. He by the way also co-wrote the song with Kelly Clarkson. Ryan Tedder who is the lead singer of OneRepublic allegedly also gave the same beat to Beyonce's "Halo."

If you will hear the lyrics though, it was very different. It just bothers Kelly that people might think she ripped off Beyonce's song.

Destiny’s Child Reuniting

Destiny’s Child ReunitingThe “Independent Women” trio Destiny’s Child will soon hit the recording studio to record their new album. Yes, you read that right. Destiny’s Child (Beyonce Knoweles, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland) is reuniting for the last time because of their contractual obligations with Columbia Records. According to reports, the trio still owes Columbia Records one studio album.

The trio went to hiatus in 2002 then went to record the album “Destiny’s Fulfilled” in 2004. After that album, they have announced that the three of them will pursue their solo careers. Beyonce’s solo career was phenomenal with two hit albums and numerous #1 songs in the Billboard’s Chart. Kelly Rowland wasn’t that of a hit and Michelle Williams played good in the Gospel Charts.

Speaking of Kelly Rowland, she’s now under a new management away from Beyonce’s dad. According to reports, she wasn’t given priority. Of course, all of the good material will go to Beyonce and not to Kelly. Let’s just hope it will help Kelly’s music career.

More news on the Destiny’s Child on the coming days.

Beyonce Double Single Release

Beyonce Double Single ReleaseOne of the biggest album of 2009 is Beyonce’s “I Am…Sasha Fierce.” In that album, Beyonce has an alter ego named “Sasha.” I wrote a CD review for this album and I was truly impressed and liked this album.

Her first single to the album is “If I Were A Boy” followed by “Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It).” Maybe you haven’t noticed but Beyonce is releasing two songs at the same time. I think it is just right since two personas are shown in the album. My only worry is that her two songs would battle each other instead of battling to other songs.

Her current singles now are “Halo” for the Beyonce persona and “Diva” for Sasha Fierce. “If I Were A Boy” and “Single Ladies” has hit the number one spot in the Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles Chart and her new two songs “Halo” and “Diva” are quickly picking up the momentum to the top 20 slot. "Diva" and "Halo" are currently #30 and #32 respectively this week. Let’s just see if she will hit another number one song.

What is your take on Beyonce's latest album?
