American Idol Season 12 Judges

It's official, American Idol season 12 judges are best selling artist Mariah Carey, returning American Idol judge Randy Jackson, hip-hop artist Nicki Minaj and country singer Keith Urban.

The announcement was confirmed by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest with a group picture with the new judges.

Mariah Carey's New Song "Triumphant (Get 'Em)" World Premiere

The anticipated new song of Mariah Carey, "Triumphant (Get 'Em)" is set to world premiere on August 2nd. The single will have two versions both featuring Rick Ross & Meek Mill.

iTunes also has confirmed that the single will be available for download a week earlier from its scheduled release on August 6 or August 7.

Triumphant (Get 'Em) is written by Mariah Carey, Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox. This single will be included to Mariah Carey's fourteenth untitled album.

Mariah Carey Pregnancy Scare

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon had a pregnancy scare on Sunday when Mariah experienced some contractions. In early hours of Sunday, Mariah tweeted "really wanted 2 celebrate w/us/share the anniversary! I started having contractions last night..went 2 the hospital." Followed by her next message, "They almost came on 3/27- happy anniversary in deed!!! We have a few more weeks 2 go but- wow!!!: )"

Before the pregnancy scare, husband Nick Cannon tweeted on Thursday, "I am probably going to faint in the delivery room! I need to man up! Or maybe I should say WOMAN UP since they are the ones that have to be the strongest in the whole ordeal! I am in awe of my wife!"

Mariah Carey is due on April.

Mariah Carey To Return To Sony Music in 2012

R&B Superstar Mariah Carey has been reported to return to Sony Music in 2012 after LA Reid left Island Def Jam to join Sony Music.

Mariah Carey left Sony Music in 2000 after her divorce with Sony's head Tommy Mottola. Mariah then signed a $80 record deal with Virgin Records but was short-lived because of the unsucessful "Glitter" project.

In 2002, Mariah Carey joined Island Def Jam and made history in her 6x platinum album, "The Emancipation of Mimi." According to reports, Mariah still owe one album in Island Def Jam and she will release one project at the end of the year.

With many artists under the Sony umbrella, can Mariah hit it big the third time?

Mariah's Song #1 For 27 Weeks in Brazil

Mariah Carey's song "I Want To Know What Love Is" finally bowed to #3 last week in Brazil. "I Want To Know What Love Is" ruled for a total of 27 weeks or a total of 6 months.

"I Want To Know What Love Is" is the second single to Mariah's Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel.

Congratulations to Mariah for that record. Hopefully, she can make a comeback in the Billboards Chart on her next Christmas album.

Mariah Carey's Angels Advocate Album Cancelled

Mariah Carey's supposed 13th studio album and 2nd remix album is confirmed to be cancelled. Angels Advocate, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel Remix album was set to be released on March 30 with same tracks of Memoirs. It consists of duets with Ne-Yo, Nicki Minaj, Mary J. Blige, Ludacris and more.

It was reported that the album was shelved because Mariah's record label are considering of releasing a new album instead. A Christmas album actually.

Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel debuted #3, bowing on Barbara Streisand's album. So far, it has sold 400K plus units, a far cry from her 1st week sale of 400K plus of E=MC2. Obsessed, the first single of the album only reached #7 while the other songs hardly picked up. Her latest song to chart was Up Out My Face, which debuted #100 but went missing after the following week.

I think she should do a collaboration again with Walter Afanasieff, the man who co-wrote her Butterfly album. Mariah should lessen the sexyness and work more on depth of her songs.
