Amy Winehouse Record Sales Jumps Up

Amy Winehouse Record Sales Jumps Up
Days following Amy Winehouse's sudden death early Saturday, fans were expected to swarm to get her music. Soundscan has reported that after Sunday night tracking Amy Winehouse's sophomore album "Back To Black" has sold a total of 37,000 copies but only 3,000 of those were non-digital. On the other hand, Amy Winehouse's debut album "Frank" has sold a total of 7,600 copies, 7,000 have been bought digitally.

Aside from Soundscan, Amy is back at top in iTunes chart with her "Back To Black" album. "Back To Black" also re-entered Billboard's Hot 200 Album Charts at Number 9. "Frank" on the other hand re-entered the chart at Number 57.

Reports are suggesting that fans should expect a posthumous album as Winehouse was recording regularly. Fans can also expect a new record from Amy from Tony Bennett’s next album "Duets II." They will be singing the Johnny Greene song "Body and Soul."
