KC Concepcion Album 'a.k.a. Cassandra'

I have been planning to blog about KC Concepcion's CD album after I received a text message from a friend in the Philippines, well here goes... I am not that surprised that she released her new CD since her lineage is into music and theater. Anyway, her new CD is called 'a.k.a. Cassandra' under Sony BMG Music Entertainment. 'a.k.a. Cassandra' contains eleven tracks--five original songs, five revivals and one song adaption. Songs in the album are “Imagine” by John Lennon, “Must Have Been Love” by Roxette, “Melt With You” (Modern English) and “I Just Can’t Get Enough” by Depeche Mode and Rihanna's number one song "Umbrella."

KC Concepcion has collaborated with musicians such as Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, song-writer comedian Joey de Leon, Sammy Asuncion, Joey Ayala, Raymund Marasigan of Sandwich and lyricist-composer-arranger Angelo Villegas.

According to KC, "It is an album you can bring anywhere and listen to without stressing it out. It's some sort of 'music for travel,' to keep you company while you're driving."

Will this album be a hit? I think so.
