The Rainmaker Book Review

The RainmakerI finished the remaining three chapters of The Rainmaker after lunch. The book in general was a good read. The story was told fast. It’s not boring and has lots of good events for the main character and his clients. While reading the book, it feels like you’re watching it on film.

I am just disappointed that the lawyer in the end chose love over his law profession. No offense but I think he can do both. I’m happy though that justice prevailed in this story. This book is now one of my favorite John Grisham works along side The Firm, The Chamber and The Testament.

Next book to read: Oprah’s Book Club selection, Mother of Pearl by Melinda Haynes.
