I’ve seen tonight on The Daily 10 that Avril Lavigne is due on a court battle by allegedly ripping off a portion from the song “I Wanna Be Your Boyfriend” from a 70’s rock band, “The Rubinoos” to her smash hit Girlfriend. The Daily 10 even played both songs. It actually sounded very similar, just the one line though.

Yes, just that one line sounded similar, but it's not enough to be deemed illegal.
