Trip To Laguna 2

Laguna BangaFriday after work, we went again to Laguna. Night swimming it is again! We met at Metropolis, Alabang then we had our quick dinner at Binalot. We had the tapa combo with salted egg and tomato. After dinner, we went to the grocery and bought snacks for the weekend. We bought pancit canton, juice drinks and chips. After that, we went to the bus terminal and took the Sta. Cruz bus to Laguna. It was a smooth ride even I inhaled most of the smog, and my hair went crazy coz I let the windows open.

When we arrived the rest house, we lie down and rested. We decided not to go swimming, but to just swim early morning. We woke up almost 11 in the morning so our swimming was cancelled again. We then prepared for our breakfast. I cooked fried rice and eggs. After our late breakfast, we went watching “Failure To Launch” by Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew McConaughey.

By 2 P.M., we went hungry and looked for food to eat. We bought our lunch in the “carinderia” in front of the village and went to the grocery afterwards and bought canned mackerel, miswa and ice candy. The whole afternoon, we just watched TV and sleep. By 7 P.M., we prepared our dinner. My friend cooked the rice while I cooked the mackerel with miswa. We even fried cheese sticks and squid balls. We went to watch TV after our dinner and waited for Pinoy Big Brother 2.

Jose Rizal homeMorning of Sunday, we have decided to go to the city proper of Calamba. We would have our breakfast there since I am craving for “goto”. It was coincidence that it’s the town fiesta last Sunday. It was hell traffic to Calamba. We arrived the “goto” place, which is just beside the Rizal residence at around 11 A.M., almost lunchtime. We had special “goto” and halo-halo. The “goto” had many chicharon in it, one piece of egg, and other yummy stuffs. After our breakfast, we went to the church opposite the Rizal house. There’s this structure across the church that looks like a large jar, which has captions of the names of barangay in Calamba. I even had picture of myself in that structure.
