Tatak Osmeña

I just saw the political advertisement of John Osmeña tearing a sign of EVAT law. According to the former Senator, he wants to abolish the EVAT law because it only gave burden to the masses. I agree to some of his arguments, but we have to consider the major effects of the EVAT law to the country especially the economy.

Not only it increased the country’s revenue and reduced the budget deficit, it also brought back the trust and confidence of the international community, and our country’s credit rating improved dramatically. With those arguments, I think there’s no sense of abolishing the EVAT law.

Let’s be wise in voting for the right people. Let’s choose Senators that would think the benefit of the country. Not those stabilizers and power grabber politicians.
