Most Memorable Songs

While waiting for the FX taxi in Parañaque City, I plugged in my Walkman Phone and tuned in to my Old Fave playlist. The song order on my Walkman list is as follows: Have You Ever by Brandy, When You Believe by Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, More To Life by Stacie Orrico and Lost In Space by Lighthouse Family. It just reminded me of special memories and people in my life.

How about listing some of the most memorable songs of my life? Here goes in random order:

1) Lost In Space (Lighthouse Family) – Back in college, this is my favorite song ever. I guess I was still doing part time work in Greenwich. A song that I still love till this moment.
2) I Knew I Love You (Savage Garden) – The first theme song ever. First heartbreak. Waah corny! No more details please!
3) I Believe I Can Fly (R. Kelly) – Liked this song before, but after a fall out with a friend, this song went to the trash bin. Powder!
4) Les Miserable – This song reminded me of a cheater ex. Again, no more details please!
5) Honey (Mariah Carey) – The video that made me fall in love with Mariah.
6) I Believe (Fantasia Barrino) – The first American Idol season I watched. Made me an AI fan eventually.
7) Dreaming Of You (Selena) – One of the greatest love songs for me.
8) You Don’t Know My Name (Alicia Keys) – It reminds me of the Alicia Keys concert here in Manila. It was a great and thrilling experience for me. Made me loosen up a bit.
9) Para Sa Akin (Sitti) – The song that made me appreciate jazz and bossa nova music.
10) I Believe In You (Il Divo and Celine Dion) – The reigning song of the year in MIS department.
11) It Might Be You (Stephen Bishop) – I hate this song in High School. I can remember how my gal classmates scream in delight when they hear this song. I just hate it extremely! So baduy!
12) Boy/Girl Band Songs - From Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, All Saints, N’ Sync to the I cant remember their group names. I admit I’m a fan of their music way back in High School. Oh come on, you like them too.
13) Miss Na Miss Kita (Father & Son) – I don’t know why I’m writing this down. I’m like pulling myself down. Oh well, when I was a kid I used to record songs over the radio. I can recall I used to listen to Top 10 countdowns. One of the songs I used to sing. Yuck! Not my type of song today! So degrading! Oh well.
