Finally...I discovered a way to transfer MP3s to my W800i phone. Instead of using the junk Disc2Phone software, just manually copy your selected MP3 using the USB to the \\MP3\[artist name]\[album name]\ folder. With that trick, transferred MP3s can be played on the walkman player and it can also be viewed in the Walkman player's Artist and Album category.
Good bye to Disc2Phone! There's always an alternative to things.
