In a statement by Paramount Pictures on Wednesday, "Katy Perry: Part of Me" began production a year ago with on and off documentary of Perry's 2011 California Dreams Tour.
The film was named after Perry's latest single "Part of Me" and will be released in cinemas in the United States on July 5th. The film was produced by Katy Perry and directed by Jane Lipsitz and Dan Cutforth.
In the statement by Katy Perry was excited to "reveal the highs and lows and nuts of bolts of this extraordinary ride. I promise you, after seeing this film, you will truly know me."
