Katy Perry Ties Michael Jackson Record

"Teenage Dream" singer Katy Perry has tied Michael Jackson's Billboard record for having five number one singles in a single album. "Last Friday Night" is officially the number one song this week in Billboard's Hot 100 Singles Chart. Last Friday Night came from the 2x Platinum album "Teenage Dream."

Katy Perry is the only female artist in the Billboard history to have five number songs in an album. Michael Jackson's five number one songs came from the multi-platinum album "Bad."

Katy Perry celebrated the milestone with a message on Twitter, "What a way to wake up! SO proud to announce that the little-engine-that-could of a song 'LAST FRIDAY NIGHT' is officially #1."
