Ciara Dropped From Jive Records

Singer Ciara has been dropped from her record label Jive Records after poor album sales of "Basic Instinct." Poor Ciara! Basic Instinct only debuted at number 44 with only 37,000 copies sold. Even her album received praises even comparing it to early works of Janet Jackson, it still didn't do well.

According to reports, poor sales of her album can be blamed to poor promotions. In 2008, Ciara changed her management and her "Fantasy Ride" album only raked 195,000 copies in the US.

The latest now is that Ciara is allegedly talking to Universal for a new record deal.
