Last Monday, I was shocked to receive an email from someone who claims to be Sarah Balabagan. If you don’t know her, Sarah Balabagan is a Filipina domestic helper that was prisoned in the United Arab Emirates from 1994-1996. Her life was controversial and was even made it into a film in 1997 starred by Vina Morales.Here is the complete email of the alleged Sarah Balabagan:

hi just read your comments about me and sa 1st album ko. naintindihan kita na nagulat ka, ako man din noon ay nagulat na may album na ako.mnn.. pero alam mo mas nagulat ako nang makita ko ang picture mo! pilipino ka ba?
well i pray na hindi mangyari sa anak mo or magiging anak mo o kaya ay sa angkan o lahi mo ang nangyari sa akin, sana hindi nila maranasan ang hirap at mga sakit na naranasan ko, at kung may makaranas man sa kanila sana maipagtanggol din nila ang sarili nila.
di man ako kagalingan kumanta kagaya ng mga idol mo, pero ang mga awitin ko ay alay ko sa Panginoon nA NAGLIGTAS SA AKIN AT NAGBIGAY NG PAGKAKATAON NA MABUHAY.siyanga pala sana bumili ka naman ng 2nd solo album ko, at and2 ako sa singapore ngayon. sana makita kita ng personal. GOD BLESS YOU.

I actually don’t know if her email is a positive or a negative one but, I find it strange that she said all these things when I only blogged about her album when I was still in the Philippines. Here by the way is the link to my Sarah Balabagan post.
I honestly respect and acknowledge Sarah Balabagan’s past. Her experience was tragic and horrific for a very young age. This should never happen to anyone. I’m just glad that she had overcome this chapter in her life and she has moved on. No offense meant to Sarah Balabagan.

hahahaha... ngayon mo lang ba nalaman na meron siyang album. if i'm not mistaken nung time na nakauwi siya dito sa pinas after her conviction meron na recording studio na nagoffer sa kanya para kumanta because they found out na meron palang talent on singing si sarah... well sad to say di naman ganun talaga kaganda ang voice niya but it would really requires more practice... or maybe hidden agenda dahil nga sa demand at popularity niya sa nangyari eh baka nga kumita ang album at meron bumili... hehehehe.... well having a doubt still we need to give her a chance to show what really sarah can do... malay natin maging ka-doble pa niya si sarah geronimo.... parang sarah'ses tandem... hehehehe....
di nga si sarah balabagan nga ba ang nag message sa iyo or somebody else? I heard of that album before pero di ko naman alam na nagprogress pala yun at na release in public.
