The Mariah Carey week on American Idol finally concluded last night. It was a surprise that Elliot Yamin, an alumni of American Idol performed last night. He performed his new single, “Free” from his self-titled debut album. It was just sad that his mom recently died. I still can remember her mom from the audience before.
Aside from the performance of Elliot Yamin, Mariah Carey also performed her second single, “Bye Bye” from her new album, “E=MC2.” Mariah Carey looked sexy with her 20lbs weight loss. Her new single is still fresh from my ears. I just have to get used to it and check its lyrics. Based on reviews, “Bye Bye” is expected to hit the number one spot in the Billboards singles chart. Anyway, I felt that some parts of her performance aren’t live or it’s just me. I still love her anyway.Now to the elimination. The bottom three last night were Kristy Lee Cook, Brooke White and Syesha Mercado. I was totally relieved that Kristy Lee Cook went home tonight. She needs to get home and buy her horse back.
The American Idol top 6 will perform Andrew Lloyd Webber songs next week. That's exciting!

finally she's been booted out of the competition! She's good but I don' like her attitude.. too cocky!
I can't say I'm sad to see her go, I did not like her at all. Although at times she did ok with country sounding things. She just wasn't that good.

Kristy Lee Cook has been performing better in recent weeks. She should have been booted earlier in the competition. I think she has definitely improved. There are others still in the competition that have been having weak performances week after week and yet are still there.
