This week, the Tubbataha Reef has been featured to the local news many times. This is because it is included in the running for the New 7 Wonders Of Nature. Chocolates Hills of Bohol is also nominated in this greatest recognition for our country. There are 77 nominees for the new 7 wonders of nature. The first cut would be on 2009 and only the remaining 21 finalists will continue to the final Top 7.
