Uber

I have encountered the word, “uber” in the blogosphere for quite some time now. I was intrigued on what it means so I looked it up just now. According to urbandictionary.com, it’s a German word that has a literal meaning of “above.”

It became popular in the American language through its occurrence in a phrase of the old nazi-time German anthem. This term is now used as a substitute for "really", "very", “the best”, “the top”, “the supreme” and “the highest of highest.”
