I Have A New Laptop Part II

I then asked the salesman to test the laptop. After a few setup in my Microsoft Vista Premium Operating System, the salesman taught me the basics of the laptop and the operating system. I was pleased with Vista’s look and how fast my laptop runs.

The other saleslady then asked for my credit card. Since the laptop costs 52,900, I used three credit cards (BPI, HSBC and BDO) for their 12 months 0% instalment plan. I was pleased to hear from the saleslady that BDO has a current promo, “Buy Now, Pay Next Year” wherein your credit card purchases would be credited on your January 2008 statement. That would give me 2 months grace period to pay for my instalment. I subdivided the amount to my three credit cards and was relieved that finally I’m getting my desired laptop.

After signing the charge slip and they have packed my laptop, printer, optical mouse and laptop bag, I left the store with a huge smile on my face. My friend even told me that I looked like a happy child given a toy, but for my case an expensive toy that cost 52,900.

I jokingly told my friend that we would drop by all the computer shops we inquired and show them my new laptop. Hehe...

When I arrived home, I immediately used my new laptop and drained the battery. Unfortunately, the laptop charger needs an adaptor coz it uses a 3-pin plug. That’s why I waited the next day to buy an adaptor and charge the laptop for 8 hours.
