Back To Stress

Back to work again today after three days of vacation. The whole day I was busy in attending phone calls from our branches and aside from that I was doing my reports scheduled for the day. I even received follow-ups from three different colleagues. Sadly, I only managed to get back to the two of them. I would definitely prioritize that pending report tomorrow.

This morning, I had this dilemma in converting my 2007 Word documents to a 2000 Word format. My new laptop comes with an Office 2007 60-day trial and I did not know that it wouldn’t be compatible unless you save it in a Word 97-2003 format. I asked help from my friends online and was finally relieved that I found a file converter readily available in the Microsoft website. I managed to post three of my six blog drafts this morning.

Before lunchtime, a certain department head went to my desk then guarded me while I was doing his request for the adjustment of inventory’s ending balance. I’m just annoyed that he is the only user of my supplies system that encountered many discrepancies. For all I know, he is unaware of his job and he just relied all along to his assistant.

It was almost 12:30 P.M. and this department head seem to continue his insensitivity. Since I’m already done with his first request, I cut him by saying that I would have my lunch first. Don’t you just hate this kind of people? Grrrr....

After lunch, I continued doing my reports. My ear ached coz the phone calls never stopped. I only managed to focus on my reports by 4 P.M. Luckily, my officemate gave me Caesar salad from KFC during lunch. This friend of mine won in yesterday’s Barangay & SK Election. Congrats to Kagawad Jack Gamboa!

Before 6 P.M., I left the office then went straight to Security Bank of Tektite’s East Tower. I waited along with the other employees while the ATM machine was being loaded with money. I waited until 6:15 P.M. then decided to just withdraw money tomorrow morning. It’s just annoying that I tried other ATM machines along Robinson’s Galleria area but they are all offline.
