Barbeque and Gulaman

Yesterday after work, I met with my friend at SM Sucat. I was six minutes late due to the traffic in MIA. We strolled first inside the mall and looked for a place to eat. We end dining at Bacolod Chicken Inasal. We both ordered for the Pork Barbeque combo with Sago and Gulaman for our drinks.

The last time I ate at Bacolod Chicken Inasal was two years ago in Robinson’s Galleria. I liked their gizzard and laing. Anyway, the pork barbeque tasted good. For the garlic rice, it’s too soggy for me and overcooked—tasted like cornstarch. The sago and gulaman experience was a real disaster. It tasted horrible! I can’t explain what ingredients it has. It tasted like vanilla with pandan and something I can’t comprehend. It’s really weird! We just asked for two glasses of water to quench our thirst. We just stayed in SM for an hour and called it a night.
