Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo

Yesterday, I went to MegaMall with my friend to watch Ai-Ai’s new movie, “Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo.” But, before my review of the movie, I would tell first what happened on the MRT on my way to MegaMall.

Almost 12 P.M.—As the MRT approaches Ayala Avenue Station; the lady three seats apart from me received a SMS message. Apparently her husband had just finished watching the latest Pacquiao fight at Gateway Mall. She started blabbering about Pacquiao, blah blah blah! As if we are soliciting her opinion and story. Then the old man two seats apart from me began chatting with the lady who got the SMS message, like he is the greatest boxing commentator ever. And he even has a say about Pacquiao’s running the Congress. I remember him saying that Pacquiao should not run. He would just stutter in the Congress. It would be wise if he would wait for his 45th birthday and run as President. This remark from the old man made me laugh. What’s wrong with this old man? People should shut up unless you are talking with sense.

Anyway, I met my friend at PowerBooks then we bought tickets for “Ang Cute Ng Ina Mo”. We had Korean for lunch at the Food court, and then went straight to the watch the movie afterwards. I was really laughing hard in this movie. The last Ai-Ai movie I watched on a movie house was “Ang Tanging Ina.” It’s a fun movie to watch. There are no dull moments in this movie, especially with the team up of Ai-Ai Delas Alas and Eugene Domingo. Eugene Domingo should have her own movie by now.
