I firmly said No and told her that I refused to accept the package because that is the advice of Metrobank, my credit card company, since Executive Marketing Services refused to cancel the transaction charged to my credit card. She started to speak sarcastic in a loud, annoying tone.
She explained again the benefits of their product, and I just exclaimed, “Uh huh” on everything that she said. I told her that they can cancel my transaction, and she replied, “Really! So what would be the procedure?” Then I replied, “According to Metrobank, you just have to create a credit memo to be submitted to your bank.” The girl angrily replied, “So, you are expecting me to do that?” I said, “Yes!” and she angrily replied, “You have agreed to apply to our services. This is not a game that you could just back out on the time you desired.” Then I replied, “Are you sure about what you’re saying? Can you give me the guidelines set by DTI regarding the cancellation of transaction?” Then she replied, “Why don’t you do it yourself?” I sarcastically replied, “Let’s better stop this conversation, I don’t want to talk to you anymore.” Then I said good-bye banging the telephone.
I am so pissed off with Executive Marketing Services. They should respect the decision of their clients if they want to cancel their account or not. I did my part by requesting the cancellation of my account, but they were really firm not to. I am just so curious why they are so mad at me, maybe because that they lost an additional income from me, or they are so mad because they cannot file any complaint against me because I did not sign any documents from them.
Let’s just be careful of these companies, especially when they are asking for your credit card information. Better deal with them in person with a black and white documents.

If that happened to me .. I will press charges against them. Sad thing on the will be, you have no recorded conversation that would give it a proof.
