I Won! Not!

It is the season to be jolly. Four more days and the traffic would finally subside. I cannot wait for that.

Anyway, last Friday was our company Christmas party. But before that, we had our exchange gift revelation by four in the afternoon. A week before this revelation, I did not receive any gifts from my “mommy.” According to the organizers, she was on sick leave. Sad Makoy…

At the revelation, I heard that she is still on leave. I was sad the whole day, grieving for the loss a gift. Hehe. My co-department just consoled me with my sadness.

By 7PM, the party started with a prayer and the introduction of special guests. Dinner followed right after that. I was one of the first five people to line up in the buffet. I was so dismayed with the food prepared. I would appreciate it if the management did not cut down so much for the food. I better not enumerate the food in the buffet. There are so many variations and choices to feast on. Har har!

After having my dinner and half emptied my light beer, I signaled my co-department to leave. While I was on the bus, my friend at the office sent a text message asking where I was. And according to her, I won in the anticipated raffle. Thank God I left early or I should have won a planner or the 1,000 pesos major prize. Har har har.
