Lend Me A Hand

Friday—After having my lunch at the office, my colleagues and I noticed that my left hand is swelling. Here are some of their speculations why my hand is swelling: I ate something fishy, my bandage is too tight, my wound developed an infection, and my hand needs amputation. Nyak!

I went to our in-house doctor and consulted my problem. According to him, it’s just ordinary to swell after the operation. What I should do is to position my left hand upward. The serous fluid clogged in the swelled part would eventually be drained if I raise my hand most of the time. My sister also advised me to move my fingers in a close-open motion. It sure did lessen the swelling of my fingers.
